Conscious Sensitivity Helps You Know Things Firsthand

When you let go of preconceived ideas, focus your attention and sensitivity on something, feel into it, and be with it—especially with a true desire to know and appreciate it—amazing knowledge is revealed. By feeling into and temporarily merging with the life and viewpoint of a person, animal, plant, place, problem, or situation, you can learn the secrets encoded there through direct experience and direct knowing. Feel into a plant and you know it needs water or fertilizer because you can feel that you need water or fertilizer. Feel into your pet and you know it wants to go for a walk because you feel like going for a walk. Feel into a place and you know it has underground water or mineral deposits because you can feel those resources as a part of your body. Feel into a problem and you know it wants to naturally evolve in a certain direction because you feel inclined to go in a direction without being restricted. Feel into your mate and you know he needs to get something off his chest so his heart can reopen, because your heart feels tight and you want to talk.

You’ll know what to say yes or no to by how deeply comfortable or uncomfortable you feel. When you feel into a process or situation—by paying attention just a little longer, then a little longer—you’ll receive layer upon layer of data about how things are likely to unfold because everything contains its own full story if you penetrate into it far enough. Feeling into life is like doing your homework before you commit to action. It’s after this that you can use your strategic mind to investigate and carry out the insights gained. You’ll still need to balance your checkbook and analyze data, but logic and organizational thinking will be used more for implementation now.

Until you build your sensitivity expertise, just feel your way through close-up, mundane choices. Even if you have big decisions looming and putting pressure on you, don’t jump ahead and overwhelm yourself. The first step toward the big decision is a small decision. Practice sensing whether you want eggs or oatmeal for breakfast. Then feel the exact right moment to leave the house for an appointment. Then feel which phone call to make first. Make these choices consciously by observing how the flow of energy wants to move you and what gives you a feeling that best harmonizes with your home frequency. By the time you reach the big choices, you’ll be skilled at gathering the insights you need by reading the vibrations around and within you.
